Onboarding process
We have designed an easy onboarding system in order to ensure that you can start using HIDEXE within minutes without any need for training. Our services are simple to use and address most of your questions or concerns from the outset.
HIDEXE is working tirelessly to develop software tools that are relevant both on the supply and demand side of the hide & leather market. To that end, we are using our existing relationships to spread the word about the leather & hide ecosystem that we are actively building. We also aim to standardize the digital ecosystem to the extent possible, both in terms of industry product definitions and legal framework.
Hide & leather professionals need to register on HIDEXE.com, and once they create their user profiles and agree to the Terms of Use, they immediately gain access to a number of free SaaS platform tools accessible from a simple user dashboard. They can use this dashboard not only to procure goods, but also to supply products from their own production or trading portfolio.
Simply define your procurement search using the pre-designed product templates, filter through the live auctions, and start bidding on virtual auctions within minutes. If you do not immediately find what you are looking for, you can submit a request for proposal (RFP) and invite other users to provide formal offers.
Once an auction is finalized, the buyer and the seller can complete the transaction using our automated contract and fulfilment tools. We support ICHSLTA's efforts to maintain and develop the International Leather Contracts to promote a fair and ethical basis for trade in the sector, and our software automatically generates INTERNATIONAL CONTRACT No. 6 - HIDES & SKINS following a successful auction result.
HIDEXE encourages industry participants to abide by their contractual and reputational obligations.
We would like to remind all users that as soon as a formal bid on a listing is made, in any of the auctions launched using our software, we assume that the market off-takers become legally responsible for ensuring that funds are readily available to pay for the requested Lot(s) in case the bid becomes successful. Once the draft transaction contract is circulated by HIDEXE by electronic means, buyers are expected to follow through with the completion of the transaction without delay and remit the funds according to the terms of the contract.
We expect our members to comply with the HIDEXE Code of Conduct. Here are some of our common-sense rules:
Each virtual auction listing clearly outlines the contractual terms that the supplier has established. Auction participants should refrain from bidding on any listings if they are concerned that they may not be able to complete the transactions on which they have placed formal bids.
HIDEXE provides bid retraction functionality for an extremely limited set of purposes involving extraordinary ‘fat-finger’ errors and problems in being able to communicate with a seller. Retracting bids for any other reasons, no matter how valid the Auction participant feels them to be, represents a contract violation and may lead to the immediate revoking of HIDEXE software license.
Frustrated buyers who engage in harassment and disorderly conduct could have their access to the platform revoked.
- Unauthorized use of information
Publishing other HIDEXE member’s trading history details, personal information or accusations about other in any form or place, or re-selling information about them without their consent, regardless of the motivation, is prohibited.
HIDEXE Members are expected to pay fees on time and we reserve the right to suspend all accounts that are past due.
